Q: Why you called yourself Euryugasaki? And why you decide to switch to your real name?
A: It’s complicated, basically, “Eu” means “Ou(欧)”(in Chinese) and “Ryugasaki” means “Longqi(龙崎)”(in Japanese, from a comic named Death Note). So, put them together. The reason for switch to real name is because “Euryugasaki” is pretty hard to remember for English speakers, besides, my site domain already switched to changkun.us.
Q: Where are you now?
A: I live in Munich and studying for my HCI Master of Science degree at the University of Munich.
Q: Why you choose Computer Science? Seems you love Mathematics much more than CS?
A: Indeed, I love mathematics much more than CS. However, My father said that I will never get a job if I choose math. For now, CS is my occupation, and mathematics is just my hobby.
Q: Why you come to Germany for your HCI Master degree?
A: Human-Computer Interaction more focusing on the human being. Since I already explored the most important topics in CS when I was bachelor student and now I would like to concern human rather than machines. The reason for why I choose Germany due to I was an Exchange Student at LMU.
Q: Why you have three Master degree accroding to your resume?
A: It is a long story. I registred at UESTC. However, I didn’t finish it since I come to Germany for other master degree. At LMU, I registred HCI and Computer Science in parallel, they are my Master degrees.
Q: What’s your research fields?
A: Well, I have a board interests since I established some tiny connection with almost all areas of computer science, such as computer vision, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. In the first and third year of my university time, I took loads of time to explore and research in these areas, and also did many projects. As I said, I love mathematics, especially algebra. Thus the second year of university study, I took almost a semester of study in Riemann Hypothesis, however, of course, I have to give up for it due to my busy bachelor study. After my bachelor graduation, I spent three months as an intern and responsible for development which leads me more to full stack development technology instead of one particular area. Presently, I’m assiduously for my HCI master degree at the LMU Muenchen, and it is pretty unclear that whether I will get into academe or not. But what clear is I decided to focus on technology and products before thirty. In specific, machine learning and production design.
